Day 684

I’ve been listening to the new Bon Iver self-titled album and I pretty much love it. The first eight tracks are stunningly gorgeous. I think it’s brilliant. The lyrics are wildly ambiguous but it kinda works. Here and there a line will stick out to you. Justin Vernon’s voice often acts as another instrument. Really my only qualm about the whole thing is the last track. The music is some terrible 80’s composition that’s unbearably cheezy with keyboards and guitar solos so corny you’ll swear it was a joke. Too bad it’s not because this album is almost perfect.
